Review: Lush's The Christmas Hedgehog Bubble Bar

I was recently in Norwich over the weekend, and happened to come across a Lush - usually I have to go out of my way to get to one. Inside, I noticed this cute little 'The Christmas Hedgehog' (£3.25) which I've never seen before (I think it's a new Lush product?) and just had to get one.

I'll admit it took me a while to bite the bullet and destroy this hedgehog bubble bar, as I felt pretty guilty as I find it (even in it's very squished state above) pretty adorable.

When I crumbled the bubble bar into my bath, I didn't notice much of an effect straight away but very quickly the bath began to froth up and produce lots and lots of bubbles whilst the water became this light greenish colour. The bubbles were great and lathered my skin really nicely.

I didn't really like the smell of the bubble bar that much, but it is pleasant. I think it's really down to your own personal preference as I tend to enjoy sweeter scents and this is slightly muskier then I usually like.

Are there any seasonal Lush products you really want to try this year? Tell me in the comment section below. Have a great day lovelies!

  1. ....I'm still waiting to try my first Lush product. I'm being banned from buying any more beauty products until Christmas because I went absolutely bonkers the past month or so buying everything that I set my eyes on. LOL!

  5. Yeah Lush things can be really pricey, I guess the trick is to only use a little bit at once then it lasts longer. It is great though if you really want to pamper yourself :)

  21. I would like to try them all, actually! I love Lush. I went there for the first time last month I believe, and I want to go back so bad. I tend to prefer smells like lavender or patchouli, but I do agree that it's completely dependent on your personal preferences which Lush products you like. Lush has some really weird smelling products, and some are just not my cup of tea...
Lovely post, and a gorgeous blog.
